Southwestern Athletes Climb Rankings in Preparation for PCAC Championships

As the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC) Championship approaches, Southwestern College athletes are showing strong form, locking in and climbing the conference rankings.

Women's Highlights
Camila is making a major impact this season. She's currently ranked 2nd in High Jump (1.55m)—a mark that also set a new school record. She's also 4th in Long Jump (5.16m), 9th in the 100m (12.99), and 11th in the 200m (27.16).

Serena is showing impressive versatility, competing in six events. She holds 3rd in Triple Jump (9.36m), 5th in the 100m Hurdles (18.59), 8th in the 200m (26.69), and 6th in High Jump (1.42m).

On the distance side, Illya Rangel is leading the 10K rankings with a time of 47:33.51, setting the pace for the conference.

These marks not only position our athletes among the top in the PCAC but also strengthen their chances of qualifying for SoCal next month. With momentum on their side, the team gears up for the Conference Championships this Wednesday and Saturday at Mesa College.
