Bio

Coach Miguel Ángel García was born in Chula Vista. He’s played soccer all of his life. At 17, he signed a professional contract with Necaxa in Mexico. Miguel played there for a couple of years. Afterward, he joined the San Diego Sockers, playing indoor soccer. For many years, Miguel has served the community, teaching soccer by passing on all his knowledge, specializing on coaching goalkeepers. It's an honor for him to be part of  the Southwestern Women's soccer program.
