Southwestern Buries Santa Monica College, Advances to Second Round

For the second time in the last six seasons, the Southwestern Jaguars (20-9) have advanced to the second round of the 3C2A Southern California Regional following a dominant 90-70 victory over Santa Monica College in the opening round.  The Jaguars jumped out 8-0 and never looked back, leading by as many as 30 points during the game. 

Next up is the regional No. 1 seed, Fullerton College (26-3) on Saturday, March 1 in Fullerton, CA at 6:00 PM.  Both teams last danced in the regionals of the 2019 SoCal Finals, a 64-67 SWC defeat.
